About the Role (Job Purpose)
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to support our growing Data Center Operations team. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and controlling operational, technical, engineering, compliance, and project documentation across our data center portfolio.
As the custodian of critical operational records, you will ensure that documentation is accurate, version-controlled, accessible, and compliant with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer obligations. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Health & Safety, Compliance, and Project teams to maintain the integrity of documentation throughout the asset lifecycle.
This is a key role in ensuring operational excellence, audit readiness, and knowledge management within a mission-critical environment.
What You’ll be Doing (Responsibilities)
- Manage and maintain the document control system for all operational, engineering, maintenance, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is accurately recorded, classified, version-controlled, approved, distributed, and archived in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain document registers, metadata, naming conventions, and document numbering systems.
- Support operational teams with the creation, review, approval, and publication of standard operating procedures (SOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), emergency operating procedures (EOPs), and maintenance records.
- Coordinate document submissions and approvals between internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate records of as-built drawings, technical specifications, equipment manuals, commissioning records, and asset documentation.
- Ensure documentation is readily available to support audits, certifications, customer reviews, and compliance activities.
- Support change management processes by controlling document revisions and ensuring obsolete documents are removed from circulation.
- Produce regular reports on document status, compliance metrics, overdue reviews, and document quality.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to improve document management processes and implement best practices.
- Support business continuity by ensuring critical operational documentation is securely stored and recoverable.
- Assist with onboarding new sites, projects, and facilities into the document management framework.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Industry experience: Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Document Control within a data center, critical infrastructure, engineering, construction, facilities management, or a similar technical environment.
- Operational experience: Demonstrable experience supporting live data center operations, commissioning projects, or critical facilities environments.
- Document control expertise: Strong understanding of document control principles, revision management, records retention, and audit requirements.
- Technical documentation: Experience managing technical documentation, including SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, engineering drawings, commissioning records, maintenance documentation, and compliance records.
- Document management systems: Proficiency with electronic document management systems (EDMS) such as SharePoint, Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Asite, or equivalent platforms.
- Microsoft Office skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Technical knowledge: Understanding of data center operational standards, maintenance practices, and critical infrastructure environments.
- Technical interpretation: Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering documentation, and asset records.
- Language skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- ISO management systems: Experience supporting ISO management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.
- Regulated environments: Experience working within regulated, audited, or highly compliant environments.
